As a therapist I work with clients from a holistic and integrative perspective, meaning I work to understand how all aspects of you and your life are affected by your joys and struggles. I assist you in learning to transform the negative thoughts and fear-based feelings that may be keeping you "lost" or "stuck". I help you learn to respond more deliberately and effectively to life's inevitable transitions/events. I guide you toward a place of empowerment, health, safety and peace.

I work with people who:

  • want to feel more connected to others

  • feel stuck in unsatisfying relationships and work

  • feel beaten up by perfectionism and self-criticism

  • are overwhelmed with life experiences

  • feel reactive and like they can't manage their emotions

  • feel they've had to grow up too fast

  • who realize they can't do it all by themselves

As growth and transformation take hold when mind, body, and spirit are engaged, I use a range of approaches, including  relational, experiential, somatic, trauma-focused, and mindfulness-based therapies. I also utilize yoga and yogic perspectives. My approach is equally informed by evidence-based practices (including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Gestalt Therapy, EMDR, Harm Reduction Therapy) as it is in my collaborative work with each clients unique growth process.

Saltwater is healing. Sweat, tears, the ocean, soothing wounds, Salt Lake City. The human body contains this healing property within it simply to exist. We already have what we each need to heal. We just need to find the path to access it.
